Portraits

We can see God’s love and kindness in all people; from a beautiful young woman to a sweet elderly man. Each one is unique and each one so inspiring with so many stories to reveal.

My fine-art portraits are well composed portraits of individuals that capture a person in ways that are honest and artful. They vary in degree of creativity on order to tell the story of a person or present the person as they would like to be seen. The amount of pre and post shoot work varies greatly as required by the individual art piece.

Location can have a large impact on the photo and how the client feels. There is nothing better than the clients’ favorite locations! Everyone has favorite spots; from parks, pastures, train stations, airports, restaurants, to mountain tops… there is just nothing better than the clients’ favorite locations!

I work in different portrait genres to capture God’s love reflected. These genres are:

Boudoir

Trishy with flower

Boudoir portraits capture the beauty of a person in an intimate, sensual, romantic, or erotic way. They are usually gifts of art for a spouse or done annually as a record of how the person changes over time. These shoots are always tastefully done.

Corporate

Sree and Manager at Caterpillar

Corporate portraits mean business, they are artfully done and show the best of you and your organization!

Documentary

Documentary portraits are artful portraits that make a statement about our times or social issues. Please let me know If you have something that you want to say about a particular subject and we can work on it together.

Events

Trio Singing at the Women of Faith Tour in Chicago Illinois.

Event portraits are portraits of persons during speaking engagements or performances. They can be shot at unique angles with unusual lighting for performances, or in a more business-like style for speaking engagements.

Family

Katie family of three.

Glamour

Elizabeth in Chicago Illinois.

Glamour portraits are used by models in their portfolios and by anyone that wants a portrait portfolio showing them at their best.

I would love to work with you to create a portfolio that you will be proud of.
